The Sonance VX 4-Inch Rectangle Retrofit Enclosure is built for adding a 4-inch rectangle VX in-wall speaker to an existing finished wall, sold as a pair. It is intended for integrators upgrading a room to Visual Experience audio after drywall and paint are already in place.
Product Description
Retrofit enclosures give integrators a way to add Sonance speakers to a finished room without the pre-construction bracket work required on a new build. This enclosure is sized for the 4-inch rectangle Visual Experience speaker line and is supplied as a pair to match typical two-speaker room layouts. As a current-generation Visual Experience accessory, it is intended for use with VX4 rectangle speakers rather than legacy Visual Performance models; integrators should confirm the installed speaker generation before ordering. For rooms being upgraded individually rather than as part of a full remodel, this enclosure lets crews add in-wall speakers without opening up the entire wall cavity.
