The Sonance Medium IS Space Saver is a flat-packed, lightweight placeholder for the IS8, IS8T, and IS10W Invisible Series speakers. It lets builders and integrators reserve accurate speaker locations during new construction, well before the finished speakers are ready to install. This unit keeps the rough-in schedule moving without exposing the actual speakers to job-site conditions.
Product Description
On new-construction jobs, Sonance Invisible Series speaker locations frequently need to be framed and rough-in tested long before drywall, texture, and paint are finished. The Medium IS Space Saver is sized to match the IS8, IS8T, and IS10W speaker footprints, so the opening stays correct through every phase of construction. Its flat-packed, lightweight build makes it simple to carry and stage across multiple rooms on a single site. Because the units are reusable and recyclable, integrators can redeploy them from one project to the next instead of treating them as disposable jobsite waste. Once construction reaches the finish stage, the installer removes the Space Saver and installs the actual in-ceiling speaker in the same opening, with no re-cutting required.
