The Sonance IS-ENCL-M-Narrow is a deeper, narrower version of the medium sound isolating enclosure for the IS8 and IS10W Invisible Series models, designed to fit 16-inch on-center TJI joist construction. It is the correct choice when a project's framing uses engineered joists rather than standard dimensional lumber.

Compatible with the IS8 and IS10W from the Invisible Series platform sold through Sonance, the IS-ENCL-M-Narrow uses a deeper and narrower profile than the standard IS-ENCL-M so it fits within 16-inch on-center TJI joist bays. This space-efficient design lets integrators achieve the same sound isolation objective as the standard medium enclosure — containing sound transfer into an adjacent space — in ceilings framed with engineered TJI joists. It supports both the IS8 full-range speaker and the IS10W subwoofer, making it a versatile stocking item for projects using TJI framing throughout. Pair it with a pre-construction bracket for a complete rough-in.
