The Sonance IS-ENCL-M is a medium sound isolating enclosure sized for the IS8, IS10W, and IS10-2W Invisible Series models, reducing sound transfer into adjacent spaces. It is an optional accessory for integrators who need acoustic isolation behind larger Invisible Series speakers and subwoofers.

Product Description

Compatible with the IS8, IS10W, and IS10-2W from the Invisible Series platform sold through Sonance, the IS-ENCL-M uses the same engineered MDF and aluminum construction as the smaller enclosure, adding a vibration-damping membrane and asymmetrical acoustic absorbers to achieve 20dB of broadband noise reduction. It is intended for jobs where low sound leakage is important, such as shared walls between units, hotel rooms, or offices adjoining conference spaces, and it is especially relevant behind subwoofer models like the IS10W where low-frequency energy is more likely to transfer through a structure. The enclosure does not change the finished appearance of the speaker in front of the wall, preserving the invisible, grille-free look. Combine it with a pre-construction bracket for a complete acoustically isolated rough-in.
