It gives integrators an isolation option for the IS10 on projects framed with engineered joists rather than standard lumber.

Designed for the IS10 from the Invisible Series lineup sold through Sonance, the IS-ENCL-L-Narrow uses a deeper dimension than the standard IS-ENCL-L to accommodate 16-inch on-center TJI joist construction. It provides the same sound isolation objective as the standard large enclosure, helping contain the IS10 acoustic energy within its own room, but is sized to install cleanly within engineered joist bays common in modern residential and light commercial framing. Specifying this narrow version instead of the standard IS-ENCL-L avoids fit issues discovered during rough-in on TJI-framed projects. Combine it with a pre-construction bracket for a complete isolated IS10 installation.
