The IS6T shares the same Invisible Series construction sold through Sonance as the standard IS6, using Motion Flex Technology with a 6.5-inch carbon fiber Air Flex Woofer and a Wave Flex Drive Unit, but adds a built-in 70V/100V transformer with 30W, 15W, and 7.5W taps for 70V/100V operation. This makes the IS6T suitable for commercial distributed audio systems using a 70V or 100V amplifier, where multiple speakers share a single amplifier channel across taps rather than each requiring dedicated 8-ohm wiring. At 4 ohms nominal in direct-drive mode, with a 50Hz–30kHz frequency response and 84dB sensitivity, the IS6T still delivers the same invisible finish as the standard IS6, accepting up to 3mm of topping compound over drywall, select plasters, wallpaper, leather, or wood veneer. Its 170-degree hemispherical dispersion and Sonance DISC calibration system carry over from the IS6, and it is backed by the same 15-year limited warranty.
