Despite the added driver area, the slim enclosure still fits within 16-inch on-center stud bays at a 3.39-inch mounting depth, and finishes flush into drywall, select plasters, wallpaper, leather, or wood veneer with up to 3mm of topping compound, just like the rest of the Invisible Series. Motion Flex Technology, the Sonance CDX Crossover Design, and the DISC calibration system all carry over from the single-driver models. At 37.59 lbs, the IS10-2W is intended for dedicated home theaters and larger rooms where a single IS10W would not provide sufficient bass output, and it is typically paired with Invisible Series in-wall speakers to complete a fully hidden surround or stereo system.
