It reserves an accurate opening during framing so the narrow-bezel Invisible Series enclosure can be installed cleanly once finish work is complete. This bracket is intended for thicker wallboard builds than the companion 0.500-inch version.
Product Description
Sonance Invisible Series enclosures are designed to disappear into a finished ceiling or wall, and getting that result starts with an accurate rough-in. The IS-L-NARROW-PB.625 is built for 0.625-inch wallboard and the narrow-bezel enclosure profile, ensuring precise speaker placement while protecting the installation area from other trades during framing, drywall, and paint. As with other Invisible Series pre-construction brackets, these brackets are not compatible with IS 70V transformer-tapped models, so integrators should confirm the intended amplification method before specifying. Installation is straightforward: the bracket stays in place through rough construction, then is removed and swapped for the finished narrow-bezel enclosure at project completion. Contractors coordinating multiple in-ceiling speaker locations on a job can standardize on this bracket size to keep rough-in consistent across rooms with 0.625-inch board.
