The Sonance ASBPC6RS is a ring and grille finishing kit sized for 8-inch flush bandpass subwoofer installations, and it includes both a round and a square grille in one package. It is the visible finishing component used once the mounting platform and bandpass subwoofer module have been installed. It is designed for the larger, medium-format Architectural Series bandpass platform.
Product Description
Where the ASBPC3RS TL serves the 4-inch Thinline subwoofer platform, the ASBPC6RS is sized for the larger 8-inch bandpass subwoofer family used in the medium Architectural Series lineup. The kit includes both a round and a square perforated steel grille, so an installer can select the finish geometry on-site to match whichever mounting platform and router template were used earlier in the project. This flexibility is useful on jobs where the final ceiling or wall trim style is not locked in until later stages of construction. As with other Sonance Architectural Series bandpass accessories, the grille is engineered to sit totally flush and trimless once installed, minimizing the visual footprint of the subwoofer. Integrators building out a flush subwoofer installation should order the grille alongside the correct mounting platform and drywall or solid-surface thickness. Because the grille ships at a fixed 8-inch diameter and roughly 4-inch depth, it is not interchangeable with the smaller Thinline (4-inch) grille family.
