Absen JD16 – Jade Dragon Transparent LED Display for Windows & Glass

What is the Absen JD16 transparent LED display?

The Absen JD16 is a transparent LED display panel from Absen's Jade Dragon (JD) Series, built for shop windows and glass curtain walls. It runs bright, high-refresh video while staying up to 86% see-through, so the window still lets in daylight and shows the space behind it. The JD16 is the widest pixel pitch in the series, built for large glass curtain walls read from across a lobby or street.

How does the Absen JD16 work?

Each JD Series panel uses LED strips spaced across a slim frame, so most of the panel is open glass rather than solid cabinet. At up to 7,000 nits, content stays readable against direct sun through a storefront window, while the open structure keeps sightlines into the store. A 3840Hz/20,000Hz refresh rate keeps video smooth on camera, which matters when shoppers film the window.

Panels are 10 mm thick and weigh less than 6.5 kg, so they mount to the floor or hang up to 10 meters without heavy structure. Because the panels can be built to custom sizes, the display can follow the glass instead of forcing the glass to follow a fixed cabinet. Power supply, receiving card and modules service from the front or the rear, and Absen supplies maintenance tools that reach the panel in any position. The power box uses a chimney-effect design to move heat out fast, which helps panel life in a hot window bay.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the Absen JD16 cost? Transparent LED is priced by the size of the wall, so we quote each project. Send your window or glass dimensions and we'll come back with panel count, layout and price.

Which Jade Dragon model should I pick? Go by viewing distance. The JD3.9 suits windows people walk right up to; the JD10 and JD16 suit glass walls and dividers seen from farther away, with more open area per panel.

Can the Absen JD16 go outdoors? The JD Series is designed to mount behind glass in shop windows and curtain walls, facing out. Tell us about your site and we'll confirm the right Absen product.

What else does a JD Series wall need? A sending card or video processor, content playback or digital signage, power, and mounting. We spec the full system with the panels — see the rest of our Absen LED video walls.

Do you install it? Yes. Creation Networks designs, installs and supports Absen LED nationwide, from site survey through commissioning.

How is it maintained? Power supply, receiving card and modules service from the front or rear, and Absen supplies maintenance tools with the install.
