When 8K Is Genuinely Worth It

For most signage, 8K is overkill and 4K is the right answer. The cases where it is not are specific and easy to identify: the screen is very large and viewers stand close to it, the content is dense information rather than motion video, or a single seamless panel is replacing a tiled wall. A 120-inch 8K display at conference-table distance holds roughly the same pixel density as a 4K panel at half that size, which is why briefing centers and imaging suites keep specifying it.
