The Microsoft Teams Rooms layout works best with screens that have an aspect ratio of 21:9, as the video gallery is displayed horizontally below the main content.
For the growing demand for Front Row in Microsoft Teams Rooms, Draper has announced several new standard screen sizes with a 21:9 aspect ratio in order to meet the needs of customers.
This ratio is available on the Acumen V, Acumen V XL, Access V, Access XL V, Ultimate Access V, Ultimate Access XL V, Premier and Premier XL electric screens. In addition, they have been added to the Profile Plus framed screen.
Featuring a horizontal display of the video gallery below the main content, the Front Row layout brings new life to the 21:9 screen format, giving attendees a more natural eye level experience. While it works with 16:9 monitors, 21:9 offers a better viewing experience.
According to Steve Cook, Draper's consultant relations manager: "21:9 has the potential to provide more immersive experiences in much larger sizes than a desktop setup." Using a projector is an affordable way to enhance Microsoft Teams Rooms and other applications. When used with 21:9 screens, 4K-UHD projectors provide the best viewing experience. They have a vertical resolution of 2160, which is higher than 1080p, or WUXGA projectors."
