Product Overview
The ZeeVee Z4KANLENCF3U is a ZyPer4K SDVoE fiber encoder that accepts HDMI 2.0 and legacy analog video inputs (component, composite, VGA, S-video) with USB 2.0 extension over 10Gb multimode fiber up to 300 meters. As the most fully featured model in the ZyPer4K analog encoder line, it integrates legacy source types into a modern SDVoE AV-over-IP network over long-distance fiber while providing KVM capability. The unit integrates with the ZyPer Management Platform for centralized routing, video wall, and multiview management.
Product Description
The Z4KANLENCF3U combines analog and HDMI source integration, long-distance 10Gb fiber transport, and USB 2.0 peripheral extension in a single ZyPer4K encoder. It is the appropriate choice when a deployment requires legacy analog source encoding (component, composite, VGA, S-video) from a location more than 100 meters from the network switching core and where USB peripheral sharing is also needed. The fiber connection uses 10Gb SFP+ with multimode fiber to 300m. The USB 2.0 port enables keyboard, mouse, and USB device extension over the SDVoE network. ZMP provides full routing management, video wall support (15x15), and multiview (up to 19 sources). HDCP 2.2 and AES-128 are standard. RS-232 and IR pass-through are included for control system integration. Power consumption is approximately 9W.
Key Features
- HDMI 2.0 + Analog Video Inputs — Component, composite, VGA, and S-video accepted natively alongside HDMI 2.0, without external converters.
- USB 2.0 Extension — Extends keyboard, mouse, and USB devices across the SDVoE fiber network from the source location.
- 10Gb Multimode Fiber (SFP+) — Supports runs up to 300m for campus and long-distance deployments.
- SDVoE Network Encoding — Converts selected input to uncompressed ZyPer4K stream for distribution.
- Video Wall: 15x15 — Large-format video wall configurations via ZMP.
- Multiview: 19 Sources — Flexible multi-source display including analog legacy inputs.
- HDCP 2.2 + AES-128 — Content protection and encrypted network transport.
- RS-232 & IR Pass-Through — Control system integration at the source end.
- ~9W Power Draw — Efficient for high-density fiber-based deployments.
- 3-Year Warranty — ZeeVee standard commercial coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What differentiates the Z4KANLENCF3U from the Z4KANLENCF3?
- The Z4KANLENCF3U adds a single USB 2.0 port for peripheral extension over the SDVoE fiber network. All video input, fiber transport, and control specifications are identical to the Z4KANLENCF3.
- Can USB extension work when the selected input is an analog source?
- Yes. USB extension operates independently of the selected video input. Whether the encoder is transmitting HDMI or an analog source, the USB 2.0 port remains available for peripheral extension.
- Is this encoder compatible with copper ZyPer4K decoders?
- Yes. Fiber encoders and copper decoders are interoperable on the same ZyPer4K SDVoE network when connected through compatible 10GbE switching infrastructure.
- Does the encoder upscale analog inputs to 4K?
- No. Analog inputs are encoded and transmitted at their native resolution. Only HDMI 2.0 sources can reach 4KP60 4:4:4.
- What is the copper equivalent of this model?
- The Z4KANLENCC3U provides the same analog + HDMI input and USB 2.0 extension capability over Cat6a copper up to 100 meters.
