Product Overview
The ZeeVee Z4KANLENCC3 is a ZyPer4K SDVoE copper encoder that accepts HDMI 2.0 plus legacy analog video inputs including component, composite, VGA, and S-video, transmitting uncompressed 4KP60 4:4:4 over a 10GbE copper network. As an analog video AV-over-IP encoder, it bridges legacy AV sources into a modern SDVoE distribution infrastructure without requiring separate conversion hardware. The unit is managed via the ZyPer Management Platform for centralized routing, video wall, and multiview management across the ZyPer4K network.
Product Description
The Z4KANLENCC3 is the appropriate ZyPer4K encoder when a deployment includes legacy AV sources — cameras, VCRs, older computers, or composite video devices — that must be distributed alongside modern HDMI sources. The encoder accepts HDMI 2.0 as well as component, composite, VGA, and S-video inputs, converting all to the ZyPer4K SDVoE network stream format. This eliminates the need for an upstream scan converter or legacy-to-HDMI adapter in the signal chain. The unit transmits over 10Gb RJ45 or SFP+ copper at Cat6a up to 100 meters, integrating into the same ZyPer4K network as standard HDMI and DisplayPort encoders. ZMP provides centralized routing, video wall configurations (up to 15x15), and multiview layouts (up to 19 sources). HDCP 2.2 and AES-128 encryption are supported. RS-232 (9-pin D-sub, 115.2 kbps) and IR (3.5mm) pass-through are included. Power draw is approximately 9W.
Key Features
- HDMI 2.0 + Analog Video Inputs — Accepts component, composite, VGA, and S-video in addition to HDMI 2.0, integrating legacy sources without separate converters.
- SDVoE Network Encoding — Converts all accepted inputs to ZyPer4K uncompressed network streams for distribution.
- 10GbE Copper (Cat6a to 100m) — Uses standard Cat6a cabling to connect to the 10GbE network core.
- Video Wall: 15x15 — Supports large-format video wall arrays managed via ZMP.
- Multiview: 19 Sources — Aggregate up to 19 sources including legacy inputs on a single display.
- HDCP 2.2 + AES-128 — Content protection and encrypted network transport.
- RS-232 & IR Pass-Through — Third-party control system integration at the source end.
- Analog Audio Output — Unbalanced stereo via 3.5mm for local audio routing.
- ~9W Power Draw — Low consumption for high-density encoder deployments.
- 3-Year Warranty — ZeeVee standard commercial coverage.
Typical Applications
- Enterprise AV upgrades incorporating legacy composite, component, VGA, or S-video sources into SDVoE distribution
- Government and military facilities with installed analog AV equipment requiring IP-based distribution
- Higher education AV systems distributing both modern HDMI and legacy analog sources
- Broadcast and production environments with analog camera or tape outputs needing IP distribution
- Museums and exhibit spaces integrating older AV sources into modern 4K AV-over-IP systems
- Security and surveillance with analog camera feeds distributed over the ZyPer4K network

Frequently Asked Questions
- Can the analog and HDMI inputs be used simultaneously?
- The encoder selects one active input at a time. The multi-input design allows connection to both analog and HDMI sources, with input selection managed via ZMP or control system commands.
- What resolution do analog sources encode at?
- Analog input resolution is limited by the source signal (e.g., composite at 480i, VGA at its native resolution). The encoder transmits the analog source signal at its native resolution over the ZyPer4K network; it does not upscale analog inputs to 4K. HDMI sources can reach 4KP60.
- Do I still need the ZyPer Management Platform for analog source routing?
- Yes. ZMP is required for all routing, video wall, and multiview management regardless of input type.
- Is USB available on this model?
- No. For USB 2.0 extension, select the Z4KANLENCC3U model.
- Is a fiber version available?
- Yes. The Z4KANLENCF3 and Z4KANLENCF3U provide the same analog + HDMI input capability over multimode fiber up to 300m.
- Are analog audio inputs included?
- The unit includes an unbalanced stereo 3.5mm analog audio output. For analog audio input details, consult ZeeVee's current datasheet for this model.
