The Williams Sound WCA 055 is a 12-foot 3.5mm male-to-male stereo cable for connecting audio sources to the Williams Sound IR T1 infrared assistive listening transmitter. This cable provides the audio input connection between a sound source—such as a mixer output, TV, or PA system feed—and the IR T1 transmitter in ADA-compliant infrared assistive listening system installations. The 12-foot length is appropriate for installations where the transmitter is positioned at a moderate distance from the audio source.
Product Description
The WCA 055 3.5mm stereo audio cable features male TRS connectors at both ends and a 12-foot working length, making it suitable for connecting audio sources to the Williams Sound IR T1 infrared transmitter in classrooms, courtrooms, houses of worship, theaters, and other venues requiring ADA-compliant assistive listening coverage. The 3.5mm stereo format is the standard input connection on the IR T1 transmitter, and this cable is the factory-specified accessory for that connection. When deploying an IR assistive listening system, AV integrators pair the WCA 055 directly from a mixer line output or amplifier tape output to the IR T1 transmitter audio input. For installations where the audio source has RCA outputs, the WCA 055 is used in combination with the WCA 124 RCA-to-3.5mm adapter cable. The 90-day Williams Sound warranty covers this accessory.
