Overview
The Williams Sound IR SY6 is a SoundPlus Series medium-area wireless infrared system designed to deliver reliable audio pickup and monitoring for up two people in conferences, classrooms, and courtrooms. It includes the IR T2 infrared transmitter and its power supply, two WIR RX22-4 four-channel bodypack IR receivers, one MIC 049 omnidirectional conference microphone, two EAR 022 mono earphones, two 18" induction neckloops, four AA batteries, a wall/ceiling mount, an ADA wall plaque, a tabletop tripod, a 12' 3.5mm extension cable, and a customizable hardshell carrying case. With a coverage area of up to 18,000 square feet and selectable transmission frequencies, it provides a blend of easy setup and robust power.
Audio inputs to the transmitter include two Euroblock line inputs and a 3.5mm microphone input. An additional Euroblock is provided for control system integration. Back-panel green and yellow LEDs indicate power status and signal presence. A power-saving mode automatically shuts off the carrier after 12 minutes without audio.
Connect the supplied hang-on-ear earphones or neckloops to the bodypack IR receivers, which feature low-battery indicators, channel selectors, and on/off/volume controls. Use the headphones for standard on-ear monitoring or utilize the neckloops for integration of hearing aids or cochlear implants with T-coil capabilities. The 12' 3.5mm extension cable allows greater distances between the included omnidirectional microphone and the IR T2 transmitter. The entire bundle neatly fits in the hardshell carrying case.
Williams Sound IR T2 SoundPlus Medium-Area Infrared Transmitter for Assistive ListeningThe Williams Sound IR T2 is a two-channel, SoundPlus Series infrared transmitter designed to deliver a coverage area of up to 18,000 square feet for assistive listening and language interpretation in commercial spaces. It supports 2.3, 2.8, 3.3, and 3.8 MHz transmission frequencies with WIR RX22-4, WIR RX18, or IR R1 receivers.
Line inputs are accessible via two Euroblock connectors while a 3.5mm mini jack allows the connection of a microphone, which can be optimized using the dedicated mic gain knob and microphone channel selection switch. Additionally, a control system may be integrated via a separate Euroblock port.
LEDs are provided for indication of power status and signal presence. The power-saving mode automatically shuts off the carrier after 12 minutes without audio. The included wall/ceiling mount and international power supply enable flexible installation.

The Williams Sound WIR RX22-4N Bodypack is an infrared bodypack listening receiver for use with compatible Williams Sound transmitters. The bodypack features 4-channels and operates on the 2.3, 2.8, 3.3, 3.8MHz bandwidth. The WIR RX22-4 can be used with mono or stereo headphones and earphones, or a neck-loop. Dual infrared detectors provide maximum sensitivity and operating range.

The Williams Sound EAR022 is a single-sided, clip-on earphone ideal for use with personal listening devices. The clip is designed to fully surround the ear for maximum stability and comfort. The monaural 1/8" mini-plug is compatible with a wide variety of devices.

The Williams Sound NKL 001 is an induction neckloop designed to magnetically couple an audio signal to a telephone coil-equipped (T-Switch) hearing aid. The neckloop has a standard 1/8" mini plug that can be connected to any audio device that has an 8-16 Ohm 1/8" output, such as a beltpack receiver, TV, tape player, etc. The neckloop has a slider so you can adjust the tension, and the 18" cord provides a good amount of slack for use with body-worn devices.
