The FM 557 PRO D WAP matches the FM 557 PRO WAP feature set and adds a Dante network audio input, allowing the transmitter to take audio directly from a Dante-enabled DSP, matrix, or console over the AV network. The FM+ transmitter broadcasts on 17 wideband channels across 72.1–75.9 MHz to unlimited RF listeners or to up to 45 Wi-Fi devices in unicast mode through the WaveCAST app. RF coverage reaches up to 1,000 ft (304 m), with a 64 dB+ signal-to-noise ratio and 31 Hz–16 kHz (±3 dB) response. The package includes four PPA R37 receivers, surround earphones, neckloops, a multi-bay charger, the wireless access point, coax cable, and a rack panel kit for rack-mount installation. Dante input makes this the preferred configuration for facilities standardized on networked audio. Add R37 receivers and earphones to scale capacity.
