Product Description
The FM 557 PRO WAP is a turnkey large-area assistive listening system that combines traditional FM broadcast with Wi-Fi streaming to smartphones through the WaveCAST app. The FM+ transmitter broadcasts on 17 wideband channels across the 72.1–75.9 MHz band to an unlimited number of RF listeners, or to up to 45 devices over Wi-Fi in unicast mode. RF coverage reaches up to 1,000 ft (304 m) with the supplied screw-on antenna, and audio performance includes a signal-to-noise ratio of 64 dB or greater with 31 Hz–16 kHz (±3 dB) response. The package includes four PPA R37 body-pack receivers, surround earphones, neckloops, a multi-bay charger, the included wireless access point for Wi-Fi delivery, coax cable, and a rack panel kit for clean rack-mount installation.
