Vizrt TET-HDBNC5-KIT – HD-BNC to BNC Adapter Kit for Tetra
What is the Vizrt TET-HDBNC5-KIT?
The Vizrt TET-HDBNC5-KIT is an HD-BNC to BNC cable adapter kit for the Viz Connect Tetra. The Tetra carries its four 12G-SDI connections on compact HD-BNC connectors, and this kit adapts them to standard BNC so the unit can connect to existing SDI cabling, routers and patch panels.
How does the Vizrt TET-HDBNC5-KIT work?
Vizrt uses HD-BNC on the Viz Connect Tetra to fit four 12G-SDI connections into a very small chassis. Most broadcast and AV facilities are cabled with full-size BNC, so an adapter is needed at the unit.
This kit provides HD-BNC to BNC cable adapters for that purpose. Order it with the Tetra so the unit can be connected on day one. For other SDI-to-NDI conversion options, see the Spark Plus I/O 12G-SDI converter or the Spark Plus I/O 3G-SDI converter, and browse the Vizrt live production collection.
What are the key features of the Vizrt TET-HDBNC5-KIT?
- Tetra-specific kit — Sold by Vizrt for connecting the Viz Connect Tetra HD-BNC ports.
- Standard BNC termination — Adapts HD-BNC to full-size BNC for existing SDI infrastructure.
- 12G-SDI signal path — Used on the Tetra 12G-SDI inputs and outputs.
- Simple installation — Cable adapters connect at the unit with no configuration.
