Vizrt NRS-1x25GbE – 1 x 25GbE NRS Connectivity Expansion
What is the Vizrt NRS-1x25GbE?
The Vizrt NRS-1x25GbE is a 1 x 25GbE connectivity expansion for Vizrt NRS shared storage that adds one additional 25 Gigabit Ethernet port to the system. Vizrt NRS models ship with up to 10GbE networking and offer connectivity expansions for more bandwidth. A 25GbE expansion gives a storage server more throughput for multi-stream NDI recording and simultaneous editing.
What does the Vizrt NRS-1x25GbE do?
The expansion is installed in an NRS system to add network interface capacity beyond the ports included with the base unit. More bandwidth to the storage lets more NDI sources record at once while editors pull growing files and proxies over the same network. Vizrt does not publish a detailed specification sheet for this part on vizrt.com, so confirm host model compatibility, transceiver or cable type, and switch port requirements with Creation Networks before ordering.
Related connectivity options on the store include the NRS 2 x 10GbE SFP+ expansion and the NRS 6 x 1GbE expansion, and host systems such as the NRS16 192TB. Browse the full Vizrt live production and IP workflow products.
