Product Overview
The Sonance Medium LCR Retrofit Enclosure is a back box built for adding a medium-format LCR speaker location into an existing, finished wall, giving integrators a retrofit path when new-construction access is not available.
Product Description
This retrofit enclosure is designed for VX62 LCR and VX66 LCR speaker installations where a project requires cutting into a finished wall rather than working during framing. It manages the speaker's rear acoustic space so performance in a retrofit cavity stays closer to what the speaker delivers in a controlled, new-construction enclosure. The enclosure is available in small, medium, or large sizes to match 4.5", 6.5", or 8" driver speakers, and select models feature a pivoting woofer and tweeter for on-axis aiming toward the listening area. A low-profile, paintable steel grille is included, and an optional square adapter is available for converting round speaker locations. Integrators handling Sonance retrofit projects can pair this enclosure with the appropriate in-wall speakers to complete an LCR channel in a finished room. Visual Performance Series products purchased from an authorized dealer carry a limited lifetime warranty, with a five-year limited warranty on grilles and Extreme models.
