It connects directly to Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Google Calendar, EMS, and CollegeNET to display live room schedules outside each door, and supports full walk-up booking, meeting extension, and cancellation from the touchscreen. Designed for commercial meeting spaces, corporate campuses, and institutional facilities that need a capable conference room panel without the overhead of enterprise signage software, the Connect sign is managed through the included Connect Room Manager software. The Visix Connect meeting room sign provides the most comprehensive on-sign room management feature set in the Visix room sign lineup. Users can book a room, start a meeting, extend a meeting, end a meeting, or cancel a walk-up reservation directly from the 10.1-inch touchscreen — with all changes written back to the connected calendar application in real time to prevent scheduling conflicts. Red and green availability lights on all four sides provide an immediate visual status indicator for anyone in the hallway. The Connect sign runs Android and pulls schedule data via the Connect Room Manager software, which is included with the sign at no additional cost and runs on a customer-provided Windows server. Unlike the Visix Touch sign, the Connect sign does not require AxisTV Signage Suite and is purpose-built for organizations that want room scheduling and booking capabilities without a broader digital signage deployment. Administrators can customize screen backgrounds, fonts, colors, and logos through the Connect Room Manager console, and signs can be grouped for bulk layout management or configured individually. The sign's built-in analytics track room usage, availability requests, and resource issue reports, providing facilities and space planning teams with actionable occupancy data. A Find Available Rooms function lets users see all open rooms across the facility from any sign, and resource icons on screen indicate available AV equipment in each room. Issues with room resources can be reported directly at the sign and optionally routed to an email address for IT or AV department follow-up. The Connect sign supports a surface mount (included) as standard; optional glass mount kit and PoE power injector are available separately.
