The Visix Choros One-Time Cloud Setup Fee is the mandatory initial provisioning charge required to activate a new Choros QR space booking deployment. This fee covers the configuration and setup of your organization's dedicated Choros cloud environment, including calendar integrations, organizational structure setup, and initial system configuration by the Visix team. Every new Choros installation requires this fee once, regardless of the number of spaces being licensed. It is not a recurring charge — after initial setup, ongoing costs consist solely of the annual per-space subscription licenses. Organizations planning to deploy Choros for meeting room booking, hot-desk reservations, or any other space type must include this setup fee in their initial purchase.

Product Description

Visix Choros is a patent-pending, 100% cloud-hosted WebAR QR code space booking platform that enables contactless meeting room and workspace reservations without room sign hardware, on-premise servers, or app installations. Before space licenses can be activated and QR codes can be deployed, the Choros cloud environment must be provisioned and configured for your specific organization — that work is covered by this one-time cloud setup fee.

The setup process includes establishing your organization's cloud tenant, configuring calendar integrations with Microsoft Office 365 and/or CollegeNET 25Live, defining your organizational hierarchy (organizations and suborganizations), and validating that the system is ready for space configuration and QR code generation. This is a professional services and provisioning fee billed once per new deployment — not per site, not per room. Once setup is complete, your facilities team gains access to the Choros cloud admin dashboard where they can add rooms, desks, and other space types; configure amenities and capacity; and generate unique QR codes for each space. There is no on-premise server to install, no software to maintain locally, and no monitoring burden on your IT team after the initial cloud provisioning is complete.

For organizations adding remote implementation support during or after setup, the Visix Choros Remote Implementation Support service (SKU: VX-A-IMW) is available by the hour. Space licenses are purchased separately: Per Meeting Room (VX-A-LMR), Per Workspace (VX-A-LWS), and Per Space Type Other (VX-A-LOH).
