Product Description

The 1T-FC-326 is built for AV integrators who need to connect an HDMI source to component video equipment without introducing a scaler into the signal chain. It accepts two HDMI inputs and allows the user to select between them using front panel buttons or the included IR remote control. The selected input is converted to an analog YPbPr or YUV component video output, supporting all standard SDTV and HDTV resolutions as they come from the source — without upscaling, downscaling, or format conversion. This direct conversion approach preserves signal integrity and eliminates scaling artifacts. Audio is handled through de-embedding from the HDMI stream: a coaxial digital output and a stereo analog output (left/right RCA) are provided simultaneously. Front panel LEDs indicate which input is active and whether HDCP content protection is present on the signal. The unit accommodates both standard and locking-type HDMI connectors, and provisions are made on the chassis for securing locking-type connectors. A locking DC connector on the power input prevents accidental disconnection. Note: because the unit is HDCP compliant, HDCP-protected HDMI content (such as from Blu-ray players or cable boxes) may produce no component output, as the component video format predates HDCP support.
