TOA HX-5B-WP 600W Outdoor Variable Dispersion Line Array Speaker
The TOA HX-5B-WP is a 2-way modular variable dispersion line array speaker rated IPX4 splash-proof for outdoor and semi-outdoor fixed installations. Delivering 600W continuous program power at 8Ω, each unit combines four 4.72" (12 cm) cone-type woofers and twelve 1" balanced dome tweeters in a polypropylene enclosure with stainless steel brackets and hardware. Vertical coverage angle is adjustable on-site to 15°, 30°, 45°, or 60° to precisely control directivity in large reverberant spaces, outdoor venues, or high-noise environments. Horizontal coverage is a consistent 100° regardless of vertical setting.
Designed for under-eave, outdoor amphitheater, and stadium applications, the HX-5B-WP operates from -15°C to +50°C and withstands water splashing from any direction (IPX4). Up to four units can be stacked vertically for extended coverage. The optional MT-200 matching transformer adds 70.7V line support with 30, 60, 100, and 200W taps. Input connections include two parallel-wired speakON NL4 sockets plus an M4 screw terminal for pass-through to additional units. Stainless steel wall, ceiling, and rigging accessories are available separately.
