The Sound Control Technologies RTK-MINI-USB is a compact conference table extension kit configured for USB codecs and video bars, including the Cisco Room Kit Mini, Webex Room USB, and HP Poly G7500. Using SCTLink technology, it delivers power, HDMI video, USB, and Ethernet from the conference table to the codec over a single CAT cable up to 100 meters — no configuration required. For AV integrators, the RTK-MINI-USB brings BYOM laptop connectivity and PoE touch panel power to the table without dedicated cable runs for each signal.
Product Description
The RTK-MINI-USB pairs a TX module at the table with an RX module at the codec or video bar, replacing separate HDMI, USB, and network runs with one CAT5e or CAT6 cable up to 328 feet (100 meters). The platform supports any codec or video bar that presents a standard USB connection, with the exception of USB DisplayLink-enabled devices (for those, Sound Control Technologies offers the RCU3SL USB 3.2 extension system).
At the table, the kit provides HDMI input for laptop content, USB connectivity for BYOM meetings, Ethernet, and passive PoE (48VDC, 7W, Class-2, Mode B per IEEE 802.3af) to power a connected touch panel. Video runs up to 4K 25/30 4:4:4 with HDMI embedded audio and HDCP 2.2 support. The RX end includes a three-port 10/100 Layer 2 Ethernet switch (one port with PoE support), and the USB 2.0/UVC link runs uni-directionally in either orientation — receiver to transmitter or transmitter to receiver — using one hub tier per linked set.
The kit ships with both modules, two HDMI cables, two UTP cables, USB Micro-B to USB-A and USB-A to USB-C cables, the WPS-12 power supply, and two sets of table kit brackets for under-table mounting. A 3-year limited advance replacement warranty is included.
