The Sonos Era 100 is a voice-enabled WiFi bookshelf speaker that delivers detailed stereo sound and deep bass from a compact enclosure. Built around dual angled tweeters and a larger midwoofer, this wireless speaker fits background music and foreground listening in offices, reception areas, and small commercial spaces. The Era 100 replaces the Sonos One in the lineup with a redesigned acoustic architecture: two angled tweeters create real stereo separation from a single cabinet, and a midwoofer roughly 25% larger than the One's fills a room with deeper bass. A faster processor supports Trueplay tuning on both iOS and Android, so the speaker measures the acoustics of the space and optimizes its EQ automatically. For commercial and residential AV work, the Era 100 is a straightforward wireless speaker to deploy: connect it to WiFi 6 through the Sonos app and it joins any existing Sonos system for synchronized multi-room audio.

Connectivity is broad for a speaker this size. Bluetooth lets guests stream directly with the press of a button, while USB-C line-in accepts a turntable, computer, or other source using the Sonos Line-In Adapter and a 3.5 mm auxiliary cable (both sold separately). The same USB-C port accepts the Sonos Combo Adapter for a wired Ethernet connection where WiFi is not ideal. Control options include capacitive touch controls, the Sonos app, Sonos Voice Control, and Amazon Alexa, and a hardware microphone switch on the back fully disconnects the mics for privacy. Pair two Era 100 units in the same room for a wider stereo image, or use a pair as rear surrounds with a Sonos soundbar such as the Sonos Beam (Gen 2). Add the Sonos Sub Mini when deeper low end is needed. The Era 100 is made with recycled plastics, is humidity resistant for kitchens and covered outdoor areas, and carries a one-year limited warranty.
