Product Overview

The Shure ANI4IN-BLOCK is a four-channel Microflex Advance audio network interface that converts up to four mic or line analog signals onto a Dante network for installed conference room and commercial AV systems. This block-connector model lets AV integrators adapt analog and legacy microphones to a Dante audio network, with per-channel parametric EQ, Mic Logic support, browser-based control, and PoE power. It is built for AV system designers bridging analog sources into networked conferencing.

Product Description

The ANI4IN brings up to four line or mic signals onto a Dante network, making it straightforward to adapt analog and legacy microphones to newer Dante-based components. The ANI4IN-BLOCK uses block (Phoenix-style) input connectors suited to fixed installation wiring in conference rooms, boardrooms, and equipment closets. Each of the four channels includes 4-band parametric EQ for room tuning, and the interface supports Mic Logic with compatible Shure Microflex microphones such as the MX392 and MX396, so microphone mute buttons send logic signals across the system and microphone LEDs reflect overall system state. Power-over-Ethernet removes the need for a separate supply, and a browser-based web application gives integrators and IT teams remote configuration and monitoring. As a commercial-grade component, it integrates cleanly with Shure conferencing processors and networked microphones in Dante AV system design.

Key Features

  • Four-Channel Analog-to-Dante Conversion — The interface brings up to four mic or line signals onto a Dante network from analog sources.
  • Block Connectors — Block (Phoenix-style) input connectors suit fixed installation wiring in conference rooms and equipment closets.
  • 4-Band Parametric EQ — Each channel includes 4-band parametric EQ for tuning microphones to the room.
  • Mic Logic Support — With compatible Microflex microphones such as the MX392 and MX396, mute buttons send logic signals and microphone LEDs reflect overall system state.
  • Power-over-Ethernet — PoE eliminates the need for a separate power supply, simplifying installation cabling.
  • Browser-Based Remote Control — A web application gives integrators and IT teams remote configuration and monitoring across the network.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the ANI4IN do in a Dante system?
It converts up to four analog mic or line signals onto a Dante network, letting integrators bring analog and legacy microphones into a networked conferencing system.

What is the difference between the BLOCK and XLR versions?
Both provide four analog inputs. The ANI4IN-BLOCK uses block (Phoenix-style) connectors suited to fixed installation wiring, while the XLR model uses 3-pin XLR input connectors.

How does Mic Logic work?
With compatible Microflex microphones such as the MX392 and MX396, microphone mute buttons send logic signals across the system and microphone LEDs reflect the overall system mute state.

How is it powered?
The ANI4IN is powered over Ethernet (PoE), so no separate power supply is required on a PoE-capable network.

Is it covered by a warranty?
The ANI4IN is covered by Shure's standard limited warranty. Refer to Shure's warranty documentation for the term and conditions applicable to your region.
