The Shure A901B-R-PM-3/8IN is a black pole mount kit for suspending the MXA901-R Microflex Advance Ceiling Array Microphone from the ceiling using a 3/8-inch threaded rod. This mounting configuration provides a clean, free-floating aesthetic for commercial conference rooms, boardrooms, and multi-purpose spaces where a drop ceiling grid or hard ceiling flush mount is not the preferred installation method. Threaded rod of appropriate length is not included.
Product Description
The A901B-R-PM-3/8IN enables AV integrators to deploy the MXA901-R in open ceiling or exposed structure environments using standard 3/8-inch threaded rod — a common commercial construction material available through electrical and mechanical suppliers. The pole mount adapts the round MXA901-R form factor to a vertical pole/rod drop, allowing positioning height to be set precisely by cutting the rod to the required length. The black finish of this kit is suited to dark or exposed-structure ceiling environments where anodized or dark hardware blends with the ceiling plane. The pole/threaded rod is not supplied with this kit; confirm required rod length based on finished ceiling height and desired microphone drop distance. A white variant is available as the A901W-R-PM-3/8IN.
