The Shure A32WS is a foam windscreen that reduces unwanted breath and wind noise on Shure's large-diaphragm side-address condenser microphones, including the PG27, PG42, SM27, Beta 27, KSM32, KSM42, and KSM44A. It is a low-cost accessory for studio, broadcast, and commercial AV vocal positions where plosives and air movement degrade speech capture. Adding the A32WS protects intelligibility at podiums, voiceover booths, and house-of-worship vocal pickups.

The A32WS slips over the grille of a compatible side-address condenser microphone and attenuates breath blasts, plosives, and air movement before they reach the capsule. Because it fits a broad range of Shure large-diaphragm bodies, a single windscreen type can be standardized across a facility's condenser microphone inventory, simplifying spares management for integrators. The foam element reduces noise without noticeably dulling intelligibility, which preserves speech clarity in conference, broadcast, and worship applications. It is well suited to close-talking presenters and vocalists where plosive control directly affects the captured signal.
