The Sennheiser HSP 2 is a lightweight omnidirectional headworn microphone for professional hands-free speech and vocal applications in house of worship, presentation, and live event environments. Built on a modular neckband design with a patented sweat-protected Umbrella Diaphragm, this beige headmic pairs superior audio quality with the durability required for daily commercial AV deployment.
Product Description
The HSP 2 uses a permanently polarized omnidirectional condenser capsule reproducing 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, mounted on an extremely thin 1.1 mm microphone boom that keeps the capsule visually unobtrusive on-camera. The adjustable neckband keeps the microphone clear of collars and clothing to reduce handling and fabric noise during services and presentations.
A modular snap-on connection cable makes the microphone easy to service and re-terminate for different transmitter standards, and all metal parts are finished with a physical vapor deposition coating for durability. The evolution wireless (EW) 3.5 mm connector integrates directly with Sennheiser evolution-series bodypack transmitters, and the microphone ships in a foam-lined hard case with frequency-response caps and a windscreen.
