Product Overview
The Salamander SA/SFA/4 is a set of four Stiletto feet in aluminum, a slim tapered leg that raises a Salamander cabinet off the floor on a stationary base. The aluminum finish suits cabinets with light veneers, glass, or metal detailing.
Product Description
Stiletto feet are the visual opposite of a plinth. Instead of grounding the cabinet as a solid mass, they lift it and let the floor read continuously beneath, which makes a large credenza look considerably lighter in a room. In executive and client-facing spaces that difference is usually the reason the feet are specified.
There is a practical side as well: raising the cabinet keeps the base clear of floor cleaning equipment and allows air to move under the enclosure, which matters for cabinets with bottom ventilation.
