Product Overview
The Salamander RM/VR/3U is a 3 RU rack mount bracket designed for vertical fixing to a wall or post. It provides standard 19 in rack mounting where a cabinet is not available or not wanted, such as behind a display, inside a millwork cavity, or on a structural post.
Product Description
Some rooms have equipment but nowhere sensible to put it. A wall-mounted display with no credenza beneath it, a lectern-free classroom, or a space where the furniture budget went elsewhere all leave a codec and a switcher looking for a home. Mounting them vertically on a wall or post keeps them off the floor, out of the way, and accessible for service.
The vertical orientation is deliberate: it presents the equipment's connector field sideways rather than downward, which makes cables easier to dress and inspect in a tight cavity.
