At this scale the single position is a chairperson or presenter microphone paired with a ceiling array, not room pickup. The oak perimeter suits executive boardrooms with wood millwork.
Product Description
Fourteen seats is well beyond what one table microphone can cover, so this configuration is specified deliberately: a ceiling array handles general pickup while the head-of-table position gets a dedicated, predictable microphone for the chair or the presenter. It is a common arrangement in formal boardrooms where the chair speaks most.
The cutout is machined at the factory into the specified location so the microphone sits flush, with cabling routed internally through the graphite pedestal alongside power and signal distribution. Cutouts are dimensioned to the microphone model and cannot be retrofitted, so the audio design has to be final before the table is built.
