The Salamander FPSA/VR/5U is a 5RU vertical rack mount bracket for FPS display stands. It is the larger of the two FPS rack brackets, specified where the equipment build exceeds three rack units — typically when DSP, amplification, or a rack-mount PC joins the codec and switcher.
Product Description
Room systems grow. A cart specified for basic video conferencing gains an audio DSP when the room turns out to be acoustically difficult, or an amplifier when ceiling speakers are added, and the 3RU bracket runs out. Specifying 5RU at the outset costs little and avoids replacing the bracket later.
Vertical orientation uses the depth behind the display rather than requiring a horizontal rack bay, which is what makes rack capability practical on a mobile stand at all. Pair it with the extended-depth FPSA/SC2/GT cover, which is sized to match 5RU.
