Product Overview
The Salamander FPSA/AS1 is a small accessory shelf with retaining straps for FPS display stands. The straps are the point: they secure a device to the shelf so it stays put when the cart moves. It suits small peripherals — a wireless receiver, a media player, a control device — that would otherwise ride loose.
Product Description
Anything unsecured on a mobile cart eventually ends up on the floor. The damage is rarely to the device body and almost always to the connectors, because the cable takes the fall before the chassis does. Strapping small peripherals to a shelf removes that path entirely, and at the price point it is cheap insurance on devices worth many times more.
The shelf mounts to the FPS stand structure and is sized for compact devices rather than full-size equipment. For rack-mount hardware use the vertical rack brackets; for a codec or larger media player, the PC shelf is the appropriate accessory.
