Product Overview
The Salamander SA/RM4U is a set of two factory-installed rack mount brackets providing 4U of rack space inside a Salamander AV cabinet. It is the tallest bracket set in the range, intended for cabinets carrying a full small-room equipment stack in one rack position.
Product Description
Four rack units accommodates the typical conference room complement — power conditioning, a network switch, a codec, and a DSP or vented shelf — in a single continuous position. Grouping them there rather than spreading devices across separate shelves keeps cable runs short, makes the rear of the cabinet serviceable, and leaves the remaining interior free for non-rack appliances and storage.
The brackets are factory-installed, so the cabinet's extrusion frame is drilled and reinforced during manufacture rather than field-modified. Lacing bars, SA/RMLB, provide tie-off points for the cable bundles that a fully loaded position produces. For help planning rack capacity, contact the Creation Networks AV team.
