Product Overview
The Salamander SA/RM3U is a set of two factory-installed rack mount brackets providing 3U of rack space inside a Salamander AV cabinet. The taller position suits larger chassis or a short stack of single-unit devices mounted together.
Product Description
Three rack units is the point where a bracket set starts functioning as a small rack rather than a single mounting position. A power conditioner, a network switch, and a codec can share one 3U position, which keeps their cabling grouped and their connector fields at a consistent depth for dressing.
The brackets are factory-installed, so the cabinet's extrusion frame is drilled and reinforced during manufacture. Lacing bars, available separately as SA/RMLB, provide tie-off points for the cable bundles that a multi-device position generates.
