The Salamander FI/CP10/SA is a factory-installed cable cubby measuring 16 x 6 in with a double flip-top lid in satin aluminum. It carries two power outlets, two USB charging ports, one CAT6 connection, one HDMI connection, and one pass-through hole, making it the most fully equipped table connectivity module in the Salamander cut-in range. The unit is machined into the table top before shipment.

Product Description

Conference table connectivity fails in predictable ways: participants cannot find power, laptop video requires a dongle hunt, and loose cables end up draped across the surface. This cubby addresses all three at a single position. The double flip-top design opens from either side, so participants seated across from each other reach the same module without leaning over the table.

The connector complement covers the common cases. Two 110 V outlets and two USB charging ports handle device power; HDMI and CAT6 provide wired presentation and network paths for rooms that do not rely solely on wireless presentation; and the pass-through hole accepts a permanently dressed cable such as a USB-C tether or a proprietary room cable. Because the cubby is factory-installed, the opening is machined to tolerance and the surrounding surface finish stays intact. Specify it at the time of table order. Can this be added to a table already in service?

No. FI/CP10/SA is a factory-installed cut-in and must be specified when the table is ordered. Field-cutting a finished top risks chipping the surface and voiding the table warranty.

Does the double flip top open from both sides?

Yes. The two-panel lid opens independently from either side of the module, so participants seated across the table reach it without leaning over the surface.

What does the pass-through hole do?
