The Salamander AC/ACC/BUPH is a peripheral holder for the Acadia mobile stand. It mounts a codec, media player, or other small AV device to the stand structure rather than leaving it balanced on a shelf or hanging from its own cabling. On a stand that moves between rooms, that distinction determines whether the system survives being relocated.
Product Description
Loose peripherals are the most common cause of service calls on mobile AV. A codec resting unsecured on a cart shelf gets knocked off during a move, and the resulting strain lands on the HDMI and network connectors rather than the device body — which is how ports get damaged. Mounting the device to the stand removes that failure path entirely.
