The Salamander FI/TS1/75 is a factory-installed compact tech shelf measuring 7 x 5 in on a 24 in post. It provides a small, defined mounting platform for the low-profile appliances that otherwise end up loose inside a credenza.

Product Description

Small devices cause disproportionate trouble in AV installations. A wireless presentation receiver, a compact camera, a room sensor, or a network appliance has no bracket pattern and is light enough that installers leave it sitting on a shelf, where it gets moved, unplugged, or buried behind other equipment. A 7 x 5 in platform gives each such device a fixed home without consuming the surface area a larger shelf would.

The 24 in post places the platform just above the furniture line, which keeps line-of-sight devices such as sensors and compact cameras unobstructed. Larger platforms in the same family cover mid-size and wide hardware, and FI/TS2/75 offers this size on a 36 in post. Mounting points are machined and reinforced during manufacture.
