Salamander 27 x 8 Tech Shelf, 36" Post - FPS Mount - FPSA/TS2/278
Product Overview
The Salamander FPSA/TS2/278 is a 27 x 8 inch equipment shelf on 36-inch posts for FPS display stands. It combines a wide shelf with a long offset — the configuration for a soundbar on a large-format display, where both full-width support and adequate separation from the panel are required.
Product Description
Soundbars on large displays are the case this combination serves. The bar needs support across its full width to avoid flex, and it needs to sit far enough from the panel that it fires into the room rather than across the screen face. A short post defeats the second requirement regardless of how well the first is met.
Shelf size and post length should be matched independently — shelf to the device footprint, post to the display size. The range covers 7 x 5, 12 x 8, 27 x 8, and 32 x 9 inch shelves on both post lengths.
Key Features
- 27 x 8 Inch Footprint — Wide support for soundbars and side-by-side devices.
- 36-Inch Post Length — Separation that lets a soundbar fire into the room rather than across the panel.
- Full-Width Support — Avoids the flex that overhanging hardware develops.
- Multi-Device Capacity — Room for a codec and receiver side by side.
- FPS Stand Compatible — Fits the Salamander FPS display stand range.
