Salamander 27 x 8 Tech Shelf, 24" Post - FPS Mount - FPSA/TS1/278
Product Overview
The Salamander FPSA/TS1/278 is a 27 x 8 inch equipment shelf on 24-inch posts for FPS display stands. The wide, shallow footprint suits soundbars and installations carrying several devices side by side, where a compact shelf would leave hardware overhanging.
Product Description
Width is the constraint that drives this size. A soundbar spans far more than a typical camera, and a cart carrying both a codec and a wireless receiver needs them positioned beside each other rather than stacked. Twenty-seven inches gives room for that without the depth of a full equipment tray.
Supporting a device across its full width matters mechanically as well as practically — hardware overhanging its shelf is unstable on a cart that moves, and the resulting strain lands on cabling. Match shelf size to the actual device footprint. The range also covers 7 x 5, 12 x 8, and 32 x 9 inch shelves on 24 and 36-inch posts.
Key Features
- 27 x 8 Inch Footprint — Wide and shallow, suiting soundbars and side-by-side device placement.
- Full-Width Support — Avoids the instability and cable strain of overhanging hardware.
- 24-Inch Post Length — Standard offset for mobile cart mounting.
- Multi-Device Capacity — Room for a codec and receiver beside each other.
- FPS Stand Compatible — Fits the Salamander FPS display stand range.
