This configuration is specified when a room needs a camera positioned high enough for correct framing and the device itself has a wide mounting footprint — or when a camera and a compact speaker share one assembly. Neither condition is served well by a narrow bracket on a short post.

The bracket mounts to the furniture rather than a wall or ceiling, so the installation requires no blocking, no cable chase, and no ceiling penetration. Mounting points are machined and reinforced during manufacture, and cabling is routed through the furniture structure. For rooms needing less elevation, FI/TB1/17 uses 24 in posts in the same format.
