Salamander 12 x 8 Tech Shelf, 24" Post - FPS Mount - FPSA/TS1/128

Product Overview

The Salamander FPSA/TS1/128 is a 12 x 8 inch equipment shelf on 24-inch posts for FPS display stands. Where a bracket clamps a device by its mounting pattern, a shelf supports it from below — which is what devices without VESA or bracket provision require. The 12 x 8 footprint suits compact cameras, codecs, and peripherals.

Product Description

Plenty of AV hardware has no mounting provision at all. Conferencing cameras, small codecs, wireless presentation receivers, and control devices often ship with nothing but rubber feet, which on a mobile cart means they sit loose or get taped down. A post-mounted shelf gives them a defined position that travels with the stand.

Shelf size should match the device footprint — an overhanging device is unstable and an oversized shelf wastes space on the post. The FPS range covers 7 x 5, 12 x 8, 27 x 8, and 32 x 9 inch shelves on both 24 and 36-inch posts, so the combination can be matched to the hardware and the display size.
