The Sound Control Technologies RCF2-RCVR is a factory-replacement receiver module for the RCF2 fiber optic camera extension system. This replacement receiver module allows AV integrators and facilities managers to restore a failed RCF2 system to full operation by replacing only the receiver (codec-end) module, without purchasing a complete replacement system. It is the correct field-replacement part for RCF2 receiver failures.

In an RCF2 system, the receiver module resides at the codec end and performs fiber-to-signal conversion, delivering dual HDMI video, Ethernet, VISCA, 12V power, ARC/analog audio I/O, and HDMI distribution amp outputs to the codec and associated equipment. When the receiver module fails, replacing only the RCF2-RCVR restores system operation without replacing the transmitter or the fiber cabling.
