RDL TX-LM2 – Line Level to Mic Level Transformer
What is the RDL TX-LM2?
The RDL TX-LM2 is a transformer that matches a balanced 600 Ω phone line or other line-level source into a microphone or line input. It provides both an unbalanced line-level output and a balanced mic-level output.
How does it work?
The TX-LM2 accepts a balanced 600 Ω line and transforms it for the destination input. Dual outputs let installers choose unbalanced line level or balanced mic level, depending on the receiving equipment. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz (±0.5 dB) with THD below 0.05% at 1 kHz. Mount it with the RDL TX-HRA3 10.4" rack mount, the RDL TX-RA5 19" racking system or the RDL RC-HPS1 alongside a desktop power supply.
What are the key features?
- Line to mic conversion — It matches a balanced 600 Ω line into a mic or line input.
- Dual outputs — It provides unbalanced line-level and balanced mic-level outputs.
- Full-range response — Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz (±0.5 dB).
- Low distortion — THD is below 0.05% at 1 kHz.
