What is the RDL STM-3?
The RDL STM-3 is a low-noise microphone preamplifier for surveillance, commercial sound, broadcast and recording where higher than normal gain is required. Gain adjusts from 45 to 75 dB.
How does it work?
It accepts high or low impedance microphones and provides two outputs that can be wired balanced or unbalanced. Filtered 24 Vdc IEC phantom capability is available for condenser microphones. The supply input operates from 24 Vdc, and operation from 12 Vdc is possible with 6 dB less headroom. Each output drives high or low impedance loads, and a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply is recommended. STICK-ON modules mount in the RDL STR-19B racking system or on a rear rack rail with the RDL ST-RRB1 rear rack rail kit.
