RDL RK-2U – 19-Inch Utility Rack Chassis, 2 RU
What is the RDL RK-2U?
The RDL RK-2U is a 19-inch utility rack chassis that provides 2 RU of space for standard rack-mounted equipment. It mounts to a backboard, shelf or other flat surface, or sits freestanding.
How does it work?
Threads are provided for either US #10-32 or metric M5 rack screws. The all-steel chassis includes four rubber feet for freestanding use and holes for cable routing. Add one or more RDL RK-2UX extension kits to increase the rack to the height you need. Unused spaces can be closed with RM-FP1 or RM-FP2 filler panels.
What are the key features?
- 2 RU of rack space — The chassis holds standard 19-inch equipment up to two rack units tall.
- Surface or shelf mount — It mounts to a backboard, shelf or other flat surface where no rack is available.
- Freestanding feet — Four included rubber feet allow freestanding operation on a desk or shelf.
- Expandable height — RK-2UX extensions add rack space in two-unit increments.
- All-steel construction — Steel construction with cable holes supports a clean, durable installation.
