What is the RDL EZ-PD3?
The RDL EZ-PD3 distributes 24 Vdc power from one current-limited switching supply to up to three EZ modules. It reduces power supply count and improves energy efficiency in EZ-based A/V systems.
How does it work?
On power-up the EZ-PD3 soft-starts by ramping the voltage up, charging any load capacitance, and then switching full voltage to the load. Total load across the three outputs must not exceed 600 mA at 24 Vdc. A front-panel power switch turns the outputs on and off, a blue LED stays lit while the outputs are active, and reverse voltage protection guards the connected modules. It fits the EZ-CC6 chassis and EZ-RA6 rack adapter with other EZ products.
